Privacy Policy

How StreamWID handles data, cookies, analytics, and ads.

Last updated: June 8, 2026. This policy explains what the StreamWID website collects, why it is used, and what choices visitors have.

Information you provide

If you use the contact form, the site stores your name, email address, message, selected subject, IP address, and delivery status so the operator can respond and reduce abuse. If you submit a review, the site stores your review text, rating, moderation status, and the public profile details returned by your chosen sign-in provider.

OAuth sign-in providers may include Google, Discord, Twitch, or Kick. The site uses sign-in to reduce spam and connect reviews to a public profile. It does not ask for provider passwords.

Automatically collected data

The server may process standard request details such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, referring page, and timestamps for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and basic site operation.

StreamWID uses Google Analytics with Google Consent Mode to measure page views, downloads, and interactions. Before consent, analytics storage is denied. If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information such as device details, approximate location, browser data, and interaction events.

Advertising

With your consent, StreamWID may use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, limit, measure, and improve ads. Depending on your choices and location, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google's partner sites page, and manage Google ad settings at Google Ad Settings.

Cookies and local storage

StreamWID uses essential storage for session security, CSRF protection, language preference, and remembering whether optional prompts are hidden. Analytics and advertising storage are optional and are enabled only after you accept the cookie notice.

You can change your choice by clearing site data in your browser. You may also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working correctly.

Sharing

StreamWID shares data with service providers only as needed to operate the site, including hosting, email delivery, OAuth sign-in providers, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, GitHub release data, and payment or sponsorship links you choose to open. The site does not sell contact messages or review submissions.

Your choices

You can avoid submitting contact messages or reviews, decline optional analytics and advertising storage, use browser privacy controls, unsubscribe from provider services, or request review/contact data updates by using the contact form. Visitors in regions with additional privacy rights may request access, correction, deletion, or objection where applicable.

Children

StreamWID is intended for general creator and editor audiences and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information if you are not old enough to use this site in your location.

Updates

This policy may change when the site, analytics, advertising, or service providers change. The updated date above will reflect material revisions.
